HOW TO PLAY

Read. Think. Tap.
Then switch gears.

Start with Play Mixed. Read the instruction, act before time runs out and keep going until a round is lost. Retry takes one tap.

What changes from round to round?

Sometimes you know a fact. Sometimes you count, remember a shape, spot a difference or execute a sequence. Read the requested action first. “Tap 1 four times” means four taps on 1; it does not mean tap the number 4.

Choose the kind of session

Mixed
The full mix. Best when you want to discover what the game can ask of you.
Speed
Focus on quick perception and execution. Precise actions still require reading their instructions.
Knowledge
History, geography, science, language, culture, technology and everyday knowledge. Calculation exercises belong in Math & Logic.
Math & Logic
Numbers, patterns and reasoning. A selected school level uses questions from that level; functions and equations stay here.
Daily
A shared 30-round challenge, resetting at 00:00 UTC. Compatible settings share its sequence. The earned Skip is disabled.
Friend challenge
Share a result link so another player can try the same sequence. Skip is disabled here too.

Choose a comfortable level

Auto starts gently and builds toward everyday knowledge. It excludes advanced and specialist question packs. School labels describe expected familiarity with a subject, not a formal exam or a measure of intelligence. Choose High school or Expert explicitly for those packs. Topic filters narrow the subject; combinations with no questions cannot start.

Quiz Arena: pass one device

Two to six teams take turns on the same device. Set team names, subjects, difficulty and timer before starting. Pass the device on the handoff screen before revealing the next question. Gentle mix excludes advanced and specialist questions. Calculation questions are included only when you select Math & Logic in the topic filters. Quick, Normal and Relaxed timers allow for the actual question and answer text, plus thinking time; choose No timer for an unhurried game.

The setup offers a question-count game or a points target. In points play, reach the target and lead by two. Decisions are made after a complete rotation so teams receive equal turns. The tie-break uses short questions with three-second limits and continues until a two-point lead; if the suitable pool runs out, the game reports that instead of inventing a winner.

Why is the timer sometimes longer?

The name is the pressure, not a rule that every task gets exactly three seconds. Reading, memory reveals, waiting and several taps need different allowances. Extra reading time is available in Settings. Sound, motion and contrast preferences can also be adjusted there.

Scores and fair comparisons

Correct rounds earn points, with difficulty and response time contributing. Accuracy affects the run summary; a fast wrong answer is not a scoring shortcut. Results show rounds, response time and category performance. Shared rankings use server verification and distinguish relevant engine and play settings. Local results alone are not authoritative global scores.

In Endless, ten consecutive correct rounds earn one Skip, with a maximum inventory of one. Using it gives no points for that round and resets the correct streak. An unused token lasts through its earning run and the next Endless run.

What to do after a mistake

Look at the displayed explanation. Was the issue the knowledge, the order of actions, or which property the instruction asked you to compare? Explore the relevant Discover topic when available, then return to the game. A lower score after a different challenge mix is not a diagnosis of your ability.

What this game does not measure

3 SECONDS records gameplay performance. It is not a validated IQ test or a clinical assessment. Familiarity, language, reading pace, device input and the particular questions can all affect a run. Play to improve at the tasks and enjoy the surprise.
